Tom Moore Co-Founder & President, Landscape Industry Certified Manager
Tom has been maintaining and managing landscapes since 1964. He spent 28 years with the nation’s largest integrated landscape services company prior to founding BellaVista Landscape Services. Tom is an advisory council member for the Horticulture/Crop Science Department at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and an active Landscape Industry Certified Manager through the Professional Landcare Network. Tom is a graduate of Santa Clara University with a BS degree in Business Management and did post graduate work at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in the study of Ornamental Horticulture. Tom values the personal relationships he and his teams have with all their clients and believes this personal attention is what sets his company apart from other landscape contractors.
Chris Moore Co-Founder & Vice President
As co-founder and CFO, Chris manages and directs all internal financial and operational functions for BellaVista Landscape. Chris is a graduate of Santa Clara University with a BS degree in Business Management and brings 22 years of retail management and risk management experience to BellaVista. Working at West Valley College for 12 years, Chris' experience as a special projects analyst allowed her to gain invaluable experience in juggling many different projects simultaneously. Chris enjoys leveraging her background in accounting, property and project management, taxes and insurance management to help BellaVista reach their goals as a leading landscape maintenance and design contractor.
Brian has been working with BellaVista since the company’s inception and is a Cal Poly graduate with a BS degree in Ag Business and a minor in Viticulture. Since graduating from college, Brian has continued to enhance his education earning certifications as a Landscape Irrigation Auditor, as a Recycled Water Site Supervisor, as a US EPA Watersense Partner, HydroPoint Data Systems and also holds a QAL license for pest management with the State of California. Brian currently manages commercial residential communities in the Greater Bay Area and Sacramento. Brian goes to great lengths to make his clients’ communities feel connected to their surrounding landscape. He strives to have the residents feel as if the grounds were their own personal gardens.
Matt began his career with BellaVista to design and install large residential estate gardens. After spending 3 years studying Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly, Matt transferred to Horticulture/Crop Science to focus on residential rather than public gardens. Matt graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a BS in Horticulture and has continued his education earning certifications as a Landscape Irrigation Auditor, as an American Water Works Association — Backflow Tester, as a US EPA Watersense Partner and also holds a QAL license for pest management with the State of California. Matt currently manages commercial and large estate gardens in Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties. Matt enjoys working closely with clients to bring their visions for their gardens to life.
